hiya and welcome to the forum.

Yes you can keep grass carp with your koi, i this year brought a 24" albino grass carp and to be honest its does really well and even hand feeds now. here is a picture of it, its the big yellow one in the picrure.

Oh wow that is a beautifull fish wish I could have one. Thank for your kind reply but how about the other fish I mentioned do you think they could mix well. Surprised to see the grass carp bigger than your koi as well!

yes you can keep mirror carp with your koi. i myself have 1 mirror and 2 common carp which are with my normal koi. what i would not do is put a mirror or common carp in your pond from a lake or river. if its brought from a koi outlet then idont see any probs.

Thanks everyone.

So I was wondering has anyone seen the 2 fish interact or ,and this may be the most stupid question ever but is there any chance they may spawn or just pair up together and try to mate.

Hiya

Yes you can keep Grass carp etc but the bottom line is that, like all of us, you will be limited by the size of your system and the filters you have running on it.
