Hi All

I am now thinking of buying BHM media for my shower. i am running crystal bio at the moment in it on my QT tank to keep it alive for the winter. what i would like to know is what would be the best way to change over to BHM? would it be a better idea to change half of it now and then the other half in say a months time or would it be best to do it all in one go. the QT tank has its own filter running aswell as the bakki shower on it. so soon as the main pond gets up to about 10c i will be moving the shower over to it again.

Hi Mark,

Not sure how much BHM is in the con try at the moment and with the exchange rate as it is not sure there will be a lot coming in either as its going up in price

I would just leave it and then when the summer is here bung it on the pond and fill with BHM and let it do its thing

I am not one for moving things between pond and QT as with my luck something would go wrong

great, not what i wanted to hear about the BHM lol. i understand what your saying about moving the bakki shower but with the QT being my own and myself knowing that all fish in the QT are 100% good im sure moving it over to main pond it will be ok.
