Default RO Unit

Hi all
I am getting an 450 RO unit will it be ok on my 500 gal tank? or will it be to big what do you all think? Will it change the water to quick? or will I have to slow in down I am already trickling in every other day at the moment.

Hi Shevy,

No it will work fine you can just run it as and when so you wont have to run it flat put all the time.

When you start just change it slowly keeping a good eye on your KH as when this starts to drop lower the PH will start to go down.

What is you KH,GH,PH at the moment and do you know your TDS ?

Hiya

Yes sure it can be done, think the ideal would be to run it 24/7 throttled back on the incoming to give you a sensible output.
