i bought same heater of ebay it didnt work so rang company up and the stopped making the 800 series 11 years ago. but also want to say the guy who sold it me had no hesitation in giving me my money back
I have an 800 series but I added a cheap electronic thermostat for closer control over the temps. The analogue stat allowed too great a temperature swing for my liking, it is still in circuit in case the elecric stat fails in heat mode, just set a degree or two higher.

That is real good advice, can remember a real sad day a year back when a friends analogue elecro had a stat failure with the end result of 35C water temp.
