Reputation Level: | Filtration is pretty much subjective, there's all sorts of different ways of doing it and if it works, it's right. One person may suggest one way, another something different.
Why not look through the "Pond build and construction diaries" section first to get some ideas of what you want, or visit local koi keepers pools, most will be only too happy to show you.
How far are you on with the construction or have you finished it, or it's an existing pool?

Reputation Level: | I can't really help you there as I've a bottom drain to sump pump to foam and huge flowcore filter, but it is 25 years old.
Whatever you chose, I'd suggest picking something that requires the least amount of maintenance, so that when the "first flush of enthusiam" dies off after about ten years, looking after it doesn't become a chore.
