Reputation Level: | 450 but it's not doing that at the minute, my mains water is only running at 48psi. Have got a pump coming in the post tomorrow that will boost it to 80psi. The TDS meter is handy as it measures the ppm of the input and output.
I have it running direct to the pond with no dilution at the minute to slowly get the PH down then when it's where I want it i will start diluting it with normal dechlorinated water.
Mark, I did a search and noticed you have a RO system. Is yours set up similar? |

Reputation Level: | TDS in the pond is 450 with a ph of 8.8. My tap water is around 550! That's why I decided to go for RO. After going through the system it is about 14.
What Psi is yours running at Mark? And do you get much waste water? At 48psi my volume waste is twice as much as RO water. I'm hoping this will change a bit with the booster pump. |

Reputation Level: | I'm not sure what DI resin is. I have sediment then granular activated carbon then carbon block filters. Should I have a resin one as well? |

dont know what my psi is as i have good pressure straight away. you will always lose alot more waste water to good ro water.
you can get your tds down from 14 to 0 if you run it through di resin after it has gone through the ro membrains.
