Gaz, sorry to hear your news. It looks as there's an open space beyond your garden, is it possible for someone to get over your fence?
Although the most vulnerable areas in semis is the gap between the garage and the house. I've an eight-foot fence with a door in it there.
A good deterrent with post and panel fences, is to nail some carpet gripper-rod to the top of each panel.
Probably illegal, but unobtrusive and very painful!

Default Missing fish

Hi Gaz

That's terrible, it's always on my mind because as soon as someone mentions Koi they think thousands of pounds where in fact I think often aren't worth two pennies in monetary value but mean a whole lot more.

The poor thing, and the stress of some oaf moving it at this time of year. I just hope he's getting cared for.

It's a long shot and maybe it's the optimist in me but when our 'Free Willy' made a break for it he took a lucky jump and slivered out from the pond through a hole in the cover that we thought was secured. Have you checked all around the pond just to make sure?

tooltime.co.uk sell all sorts of security stuff, cheap as chips. We've got motion sensors in our garden which chime, I'm sure the hedgehogs have a merry time at us bleery eyed at the window but it put our minds at rest
