hi all
ive covered my pond with 25mm poly sheet but the sheets i got only let 3% of light in so reading some posted it sounded a bad idea so i bought some clear 10mm poly sheet and ive now got 2 stripes 500mm wide so it about 1/3 of the surface let light in does that sound like it will be ok.
im also heating to 14c how should i feed at the moment im doing a small feed twice a day any veiws would be helpful thanks guys and girls??

My take is that you have done what you can and it will make a big difference to any risk involved - bit like having a couple of clear rooflights in the QT shed.

Feed wise; at 14C they will thrive on a little food; as always the dreaded test kits will tell you whether you are OD them!
