Default Regonal Variations in Pool Temperatures.

Just curious;

Here in the North-West, at 6.30pm. mine was 68F (sorry I still work on "old money.")

I had my usual leisurely three hour game of golf this morning, then a shower and a change of clothes, followed by a nice lunch and a couple of pints in our clubhouse.

You can't beat a bit of exercise, can you?

My 68F reading yesterday evening was taken from the header tank that supplies my filters, so was "bottom water"
Another check today from the header tank at 1.00pm gave me 70F, but putting the thermometer down about six inches into the actual pool I got 75F.

I was a little surprised at the difference, given that there's quite a bit of movement in the water.
