Clarity ? is it green water if so how much sun does your pond get ? maybe you need a bigger UV . More info on your pond may help people to help out .

Hiya

Clarity is just the bit that we like , the fish dont care as long as the Ammonia and Nitrite levels are OK..

Test of whether a filter needs upgrading is these numbers - are they OK?

Its a pain that algae lol, have you room to install a vegetable filter, i put 2 on mine plus plants in shallow area of pond, and for 1st time this yr i've had no probs with algae or blanket weed.
You might also try running another filter along side your current 1, as your fish grow you'l prob find it'll struggle a little bit, my ponds in direct sun light so you'll get there

Not sure you should be cleaning filter every day to be honest, if it needs doing then your def right in putting another filter on, your set up might work better next yr anyway when its more established
