i had/have the same problem with my 2000 gallon pond lthough it clearing up on its own as the weather cools down its still bit murky, i bought a 55w UV light which ill install tomoro if i can get some tubing, if i were you i would up your UV
yes levels are o.k , cant see my koi unless they come up to the surface though. have been workin away a lot recently so water changes and filter cleaning has sufferd a bit
Its a pain that algae lol, have you room to install a vegetable filter, i put 2 on mine plus plants in shallow area of pond, and for 1st time this yr i've had no probs with algae or blanket weed.
You might also try running another filter along side your current 1, as your fish grow you'l prob find it'll struggle a little bit, my ponds in direct sun light so you'll get there
Not sure you should be cleaning filter every day to be honest, if it needs doing then your def right in putting another filter on, your set up might work better next yr anyway when its more established
