Default duratec or hydropro

Hi, can anyone give some feedback on heat pumps, now they tell me that the hydropro plus 7 is exactly the same as the duratec plus 7, even been told they come out of the same factory, so why is there a difference of about 400 quid? are they the same? still come with a 2 year parts and labour warranty and the hydropro does every thing the duratec does, (so I'm told) can any one shed some light on this. Cheers

Not many interested in this then ? Well some information for those who may be considering these units as a source of heat, The Duratec is distributed from belgium and retails at around 1400 quid, Now the Hydropro is distributed from UK and retails at around 990 quid, exactly the same unit same manufacture different badge, Now the people who have the Duratec are telling me beware of cheap copys , But are we again being misled by suppliers.

I wonder if the Dura's are approved for "pond" use whereas the others are strictly labelled/approved/guaranteed for pools..

On a seperate note, I'd like to know how well these class of units work (compared with gas boilers, say)
