Hi guys, I need to know how to connect my skimmer to the nexus. Can I feed it into the pipe from the bottom drain or will the pressure just push water out of the mouth of the skimmer?

Normally, they require a dedicated pump. If your Nexus is gravity fed, you cannot (as far as I know) feed this into the Nexus, it could go into a sieve or shower or other filter.
I have managed to connect my skimmer to a rotary drum filter by cutting a hole in the bottom of the skimmer to accommodate a 3" tommy drain, this is converted to 4" drain and connected to the RDF. This only works because I have a massive flow rate, 33000 l/h. | |
