Reputation Level:  | Clean before winter? I have a bioforce 9000 and was thinking is it a good idea to clean the filter sponges before winter? as the bacteria growth will be less in the colder months?

Reputation Level:  | Just give them a rinse out in a bucket of pond water as tap water will kill all the benificial bacteria |
