After finally completing my pond construction,the filters and pumps and air pump were set up and running.
My pond is 8ft/6ft/4ft.
I am using a Lotus Green Genie 12000 filter box with 16w UV built in.This runs from a Titan 3000 pump.Then I have got a Hozelock Ecocell filter box which I have filled with K1 media,this runs from a Lotus Maximus Eco 1700 pump.Finally I have a 60lph air pump.
After only 2 days of the fish being put in the water has started going green already?
Should I get a seperate UV such as a Hozelock Vorton and connect it between the Maximus and the Ecocell to boost the UV effect?
Also can I keep the air pump running all the time?
Would this help water circulation to aid the prevention of green water?
I have waited ages for the pond to be finished and now I am totally gutted at the water condition?
Please please advise? |

i will do some cal's and get back tomoz beend drinking and im afiard my brain dont work that with drink lol | |
