Filter Media for Oasis Vortec

Hi, can anyine give me a bit of advice re filter media. I have an Oasis Vortec 16000 filter for a 7,200 litre pond. Currently have 15 fish 2 x 10in 5 approx 8in and the rest about 6in. The pump is an Oasis Aquashift 5000. The filter came with the standard foam and Flocor Bio-media, would there be any point in changing this? Is there anything more efficient out there? Many thanks. hi,how many gallons is ur pond? how long has this filter been on? wot uv u got?is this the filter with a no media in the vortex?

The pond is 7200 litres which is about 1,600 galls. The filter has been running for a few months and is working fine. I'm just thinking ahead, as the fish get bigger and create more waste, if the filter doesn't cope as it is I want to be prepared.

You are correct in saying that there is no media in the vortex. G

mines 2000g,i would leave it till next year now like me,why not put brushes in the vortex.i am thinking vortex with brushes before my filter.or sleve.
