Reputation Level: | Viewing Window, I was considering having a viewing window but was wondering how easy they are to keep clean. I imagine them to be like a fish tank and go green after a while.

Dan !!!!! Happy New YEAR !
it looks like Helen's kitchen is getting further and further away !!!
Good man, proud of you !!!
Stainlees steel framed viewing windows are best, but not easy to seal,
keep it within reach, and just clean the algae off with a scouring sponge which never gets used for anything else !
If it's too low down to reach, the supermarkets are full of window cleaning devices to reach !
HOWEVER the deeper in the pond it is, the greater the disaster if it leaks !
especially if you are away,
the pond would empty to the level of the leak, i.e. the viewing window,
too low a level and there would not be sufficient water level for the Nexus to work !

Reputation Level: | Helens Kitchin is a good 2 years away so even more time to sneak an expensive koi in or 2. The viewing window is only a thought but must be concidered soon as once the wall is up then there is no going back. Any one had a leaking viewing window? or wish they had done somthing diffrent?
Cheers Dan. |
