Hi Koimaster. The 400D is a great camera Ive had one since they first came out I also have the 300D. The 18-55 lens can take close ups every well. I would send you one of my close ups butt not sure how to post images to the forum. I use mostly the 28-80mm lens and the sigma 135-400mm telephoto.
I have a couple of other lenses which i dont use . A tip that was given to me by a professional photographer was to keep the white balance set to cloudy even when the suns out you will get warmer colours. if you have any problems let me know I will do my best to help. Happy snapping Dave.

Anybody have any idea what kind of koi this is? I've looked around on the web but couldn't figure out what it is.
