Default Water Shortage !!!

Hello all how is the water shortage in Your area affecting You. Or have you no problems with water yet. I was all set to start knocking some of my old pond down this weekend and start my pond extension. I was sitting eating my tea last night and watching the regional news, They were banging on about the drought and the fact that they have already inforced hose pipe bans ect ect. Then they hinted to the fact of Standpipes, it was all in the papers today aswell. It will be like 1976 revisited I was just a young lad then but can remember it, queing up with your buckets in the street.

Â* Â* Â*I think with all the uncertainty it would be in My Koi best interest to leave My pond extension until the end of the summer. I dont want to be in a position were I have MY Koi in a holding tank, and not being able to fill my new pond with water due to standpipes. I think people in the que behind Me might get a bit fed up if I ask for 4500 gallons not to mention the amount of bucketsÂ* I will need lol.
Â* They all seem happy swimming about in there 2000 gallon pond. So perhaps it may be best to leave them alone.
Comment please
Justin
