Hi all,

I joined this site today [already been asking for help :-[] and just wanted to say thank you for letting me join and I think the web site is excellent. I am still pretty new to this hobby and only just realising how much I have to learn!!! hopefully I can gain from the knowledge and experiences of other members. If anyone lives in the Birmingham area I am looking for a new aquatic shop run by people who are not just interested in money!! My dealings with the last place I used has made me keen to find a reputable and helpfull supplier and would be gratefull if anyone can recommend one to me.

Welcome to Extreme Koi, it is a very good site and has alot of genuine members who will help with any problems or advice. As for a local dealer who gives you helpful advice without trying to sell you anything, I found Simon Law who is the M.D. at Shirley Aquatics in Solihull to be that kind of person. I have had quite alot of useful advice from him without any obligation to purchase. You will however find quite alot of members of the website will do the same and probably one mght be close to you.

Thanks for that Jono I will have to give Shirley Aquatics a visit, although I have heard of them I have been told they were very expensive but if you get a good service it will be worth it.
