Hi Koi keepers, just getting ready to start my pond extention in the next week or so. I am going to upgrade my block built filter and make it much larger to support my larger pond. I think I am going to go with a Vortex chamber before my fluidized K1. Just wondered if any one does it the other way with a large settlement chamber. Or had experiance of both, and what they thought work better. I have a small vortex at the moment and it removes solids well.

I would say that a vortex is the better choice unless you have an answer installed then I would go for a static chamber.

Hi John thanks for your reply. I think I will go with a vortex. The bigger the better so as to slow my spin down to give those solids a chance to sink.
