Default Feeding Koi Red Worms

Hi

Im a newbie to this forum just getting into koi keeping, is there any benefits or pitfalls with feeding koi redworm\Earthworms along with koi pellets

How often should I feed the koi redworm? I have 4000Gal pond and 40 Koi 20 Goldfish, I have read that earthworm are good in protein but didn't know if you have to feed them sparingly

I ask because I have seen a good article about creating a redworm culture and recycling household waste, the plan is to breed redworms as live food for koi and to produce compost for the garden

Regards

Jamie

hi jamie
.i do the same as your planning to do . i feed them as treats in the spring as it is a good source of protein and often gets them rooting around a bit more. some people dont like using them but my koi luv them.. go for it
