Take a look at this, a sand and gravel filter for a 2000[us] gallon pond.
What do you think? |

Reputation Level: | Obviously 70 of you don't think alot of it lol!
I was thinking, for the air blower an inflator for a bouncy castle, they're cheap enough on e-bay and could be throttled down with a ball valve.
Some feed back? anyone? |

Reputation Level: | I run 2 in parallel on my skimmer circuit on my main pond and a couple of others around the place .I couldnt be happier with the clarity they provide the ease of cleaning and the fact that they require very little head to run them.
On the thread in the link it is said you can go seven days + between cleans being a little anal about filter maintenance and water changes i do mine on alternate days
I use a wet and dry blower vac to clean mine.
