Reputation Level: | Air pump issues! Hi Guys
I got up the other morning and did my usual routine with my pond, but noticed that the bubbles from my air stones where not as much as usual. So went and checked out my air pump, only to find that the rubber hose coming from the pump to the manifold has perished in this hot weather we hare having recently
I have a ACO-9810 Hailea waterproof air pump, and have probs had it for a month. Got it off ebay BNIB, have contacted the seller but just thought it would be a good idea to post this, to see if any of you have had the same pump or issue. And / or have any solutions or fixes.
Thanks
Matt |

If not it will be in in a couple of weeks. Got the pump outside on the decking, right next to the pond. As it's waterproof I don't need to keep it inside and run lines all over the garden!
Nice and quiet as well, I don't really need one that big, but was at the same price as a tidily one, so thought the more oxygen the better really. |

Reputation Level: | Hi, Just a thought, if you manage to get a replacement manifold, hiding the airpump within a cheap storage box from pound land may help. It keeps the weather out and increases the life of all parts. You will however need a small in and out hole in the box.
