Reputation Level: | nexus with answer I have been offered a nexus 200 with a answer fitted. Is this better or worse than one fitted with the eazy conversion? |

Reputation Level: | Eazy I was thinking of fitting a eazy, there is one on ebay at the moment. I can't find anything that expains what the advatage the eazy makes.
I understand the argument about nexus verses other types, but I'm on a limited buget and the nexus is very very cheap!
I'm buying ready for when I rebuild my 1000 gallon pond and make it 2500gallons. |

I'm buying ready for when I rebuild my 1000 gallon pond and make it 2500gallons. | the problem with nexus filters is they dont keep the water clear of floating particals, when i built mine last year before i brought my sieve and bead filter i looked at 5 big ponds and all had nexus filters on and to say the water looked crap is putting it good. i then went to a dealer who then said they sold 5 bead filters to 1 nexus filter. i understand you are prob getting it cheap but if you look on ebay your get a bead filter easy for less then £350

Reputation Level: | True yes I agree but this nexus was next to nowt! I intend to leave room in the filter area to change to a sieve/bead filter if I'm not happy. I'm a ebay hunter so if one comes up cheap I may change. |

Reputation Level: | Plan Well I will only go for the bead filter if the Nexus is no good! The new pond will be started in the next few weeks once the existing koi are moved to a temp pond. |
