Galls is 1750. Pump is Hozelock Titon 5500. UV is Hozelock Vorton with twin 11 watts lamp fitted 3 weeks ago. before that just a 11watts that packed up 4 months ago but that never gave me clear water.

right 11w is no way near enough, when you say not clear water? is it green water or just not clear such as floating particals or cloudy. is the filter system clear such as have you back flushed the drains on them.

Marks its 22 watts not 11watts I'm familiar with the difference between green water and the small particles. It's defininaltly green. But taking all things into account remember my first posting was having had the new UV running for only 3 weeks " Am I being impatient " I think that could be my problem

ok 22watts sorry, yes i would give it longer but if it was mine i would still not be lower then 30watts. the only thing that makes me worry is its winter and i have never heard of green water in winter as ponds dont get no where near the sun light as in summer. see how you go over the next month but if it does not get much better i would buy a tmc 30watt uv or yamitsu 30watt uv mark

Hi all
Just like to say that it takes time. I have been running 3 uv's on mine and it's just getting clear now water changes do help I have an 80w and 50w and 15w and it's taken over 6 months to see the diffrence and the bulbs should be changed every 6 months for better quality
