Default cloudy pond water

Hi all

im new to all this, but a few months ago i decided to build my 1st pond.
The pond is now up & running & i have a few koi in there now which all seem to be doing well, the problem i have is the water is really cloudy any ideas?

the pond is approx 400 gallons
i have a bottom drain fitted & top skimmer both pumped via a sequence 12000 into a 24000l filter.

thanks
Mick

When you say cloudy do you mean green water or lots of small particals or just a gray cloudy water?

I think what you could do with is a good dose of clay and i dont mean garden clay i mean the clay you can buy for koi dealer/aquatic shops this will turn your water milky for about a day and it groops all the particals together and then they can get cought in your filter for you to just clean away hope this helps
