bottom drain installation

could someone show me pictures of how the plumbimg of a bottom drain exits the base?

a 90 deg bend upwards so it will go bottom drain 4" pipe along to a 90deg elbow up to vavle

How do i control the flow of water from the bottom drain if my pumps output is less than the flow into the filter?

before your filter you should install a ball or slide valve this controls the amout of flow/water going to your filter 4" pipe without any valve will tend to flow around 3225 gal per hour
