Reputation Level: | veggie filter hi
i am thinking about making a veggie filter to feed the water back into my pond when its been through the vortex filter and uv
i have been looking for the right plants to put in it
water cress as been mentioned a lot would that be the same water cress we buy in the supermarket ?
does anyone have any suggestions about which plants i could use
as it does seem like an excellent way to get rid of the nitrates and thus not feed any nasty algae
thanxs |

Reputation Level: | Water cress is a good choice. However the common or Norfolk reed is by far your best bet.
