The very large Koi are 8 years old, Along with the large Koi that he has 4 of that are in the pictures he also has 8 babies that are about 6" each, He is willing to give 4 of them away with the large ones for free if wanted.
He has female and male but is unsure which is which now. They were purcahsed from the Cardiff Bay from w
ww.koiwarehouse.co.uk area and were imported from Japan to this country through Marudo Breeders
I am helping to sell these for my friend he currenlty lives on a residential park in a mobile type home, The site is earmarked for redevelopment in the near future and he will be moved which is why he is selling his fish. he said after 30 years of keeping various fish he is to old to start over again which is sad, I have suggested maybe selling the larger ones and I will keep 4 of the small ones so if when he has to move if he still wishes to make another pond I will help and then give him back his Koi.
He is looking for £50 per fish, But if someone wants all 4 they can also have 4 smaller for free so possibly 8 Koi for £200 which is a bargain if you take a look at the website he got them from.
